  • We offer a 3D printing process known as Fused Deposition Modelling (FDM). The process uses thermoplastic that is melted and extruded layer by layer to create the desired part.

There are three structures while 3D printing parts: the raft, the part and its support material. The raft is the foundation that the part is printed on and the support material supports certain areas of the part such as 70-90 degree overhangs. The raft and support structure is printed from the same material as the part and is removed when the part is completed. Please note: the raft and support structure is generated automatically by the printer software.
